In his 20-year career at Citigroup, Steve Bowman has managed an array of
global businesses. He currently is Global Head of Fixed Income Sales and
Research at Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. Steve is a member of the Global
Fixed Income Management Committee, Co-Head of the Global Hedge Fund Initiative
and Co-Chair of the FI Diversity Committee.
Steve was introduced to BEF by MVP Billy Heinzerling. Whether buying tables
for Booming Celebration, entering losing teams for the BEF 3-on-3 Basketball
Challenge or making sure he was in touch with BEF when he was based in London,
Steve has supported the Foundation since the late 1990s.
Steve graduated from Brown University in 1982 with degrees in economics and
organizational behavior. He is active in the Brown University Sports
Foundation and is a member of the Friends of Brown Basketball.
Steve lives in Rye, N.Y., with his wife, Ellen, and their two children -- Max,
a 12-year-old rock guitarist, and Mitchell, a 10-year-old football-playing
fullback.
