Cystic Fibrosis Podcast 176: Importance of Nutrition for CF Patients

In this podcast, we meet Molly Bigford, a Registered Dietitian for the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Care Team in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Born and raised in Michigan, Molly began working with hospitalized adult patients with cystic fibrosis 13 years ago.  When the CF clinic divided into separate pediatric and adult groups in 2010, Molly became the Registered Dietitian for the adult clinic.  She finds working with adults with CF very rewarding, especially with the medical advances in CF care.  In her spare time, she stays active and enjoys being with her husband and two children.

Molly shares her thoughts on the importance of good nutrition for people with CF and discusses different methods to help meet their caloric needs.
