Boomer’s Cystic Fibrosis Run to Breathe

Early Saturday morning, five thousand runners joined Boomer Esiason and Jerry Cahill in the second annual Run to Breathe 10k in Central Park. This year’s race marked a special accomplishment in many people’s lives, but most noticeably showcased the inner strength and determination of Jerry Cahill, Boomer Esiason Foundation volunteer and creator of Team Boomer, who completed the race in 1:31:43 just three months after receiving a double lung transplant.

To learn more about the race and see results, please read any of the below press releases or visit the New York Road Runners at http://www.nyrrc.org
