New CF Wind Sprint Demonstrates Simple Upper Body Exercises

06/29/2011

The Boomer Esiason Foundation has released Episode 18 of the CF Wind Sprint Series: Upper Body Exercises.

In this brief video, BEF Volunteer Jerry Cahill demonstrates simple exercises to strengthen the upper body, including the bench press, military press, bicep curls, and, of course, push-ups. Jerry reminds viewers that the exercises don't have to be done in a gym – they can be done at home using simple props from the pantry.

CF Wind Sprints is a series of brief videos addressing a variety of topics relevant to living with CF, including traveling, nutrition, exercise and treatments. The Wind Sprint series is made possible by an unrestricted educational grant from Genentech to the Boomer Esiason Foundation.

BEF invites the CF community to submit questions and topics for CF Wind Sprints via its Facebook fan page or on Twitter.
