About TOBI®

TOBI® (Tobramycin Inhalation Solution, USP) is an antibiotic indicated for the management of cystic fibrosis (CF) patients with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a type of bacteria frequently found in the lungs of a person with cystic fibrosis. TOBI is designed for inhalation.

Each ready-to-use ampule of TOBI contains 300 mg of tobramycin in a 5 mL solution. TOBI is administered using a PARI LC PLUS™ Reusable Nebulizer and a DeVilbiss Pulmo-Aide® air compressor in repeated cycles of 28 days on drug, 28 days off drug. It is inhaled twice daily and requires about 15 minutes each time. The dose is the same for all patients regardless of weight, age or other factors. For instructions on how to use TOBI, see the Patient Medication Guide.

Patient Assistance Programs

Individuals with CF who have been prescribed TOBI® (Tobramycin Inhalation Solution, USP), have access to two different types of assistance programs:

The TOBI Access Hotline is dedicated to helping individuals with existing insurance obtain optimal benefit coverage for TOBI. The Hotline is funded by Chiron Corporation and run by Priority Healthcare, a specialty pharmacy company. Priority Healthcare is a national specialty pharmacy that also offers disease management services for individuals with CF. For individuals who voluntarily opt to use Priority's pharmacy services, a dedicated clinical staff of nurses and pharmacists is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer medical questions and coordinate care with physicians. To learn more about the reimbursement services offered through the TOBI Access Hotline or Priority Healthcare, please visit www.priorityhealthcare.com/tobi or call toll-free 1-866-598-8624.

The TOBI Foundation attempts to assist individuals with CF who are prescribed TOBI but face high insurance copays, have limited benefit coverage, or are without any insurance. The Foundation receives funding from Chiron. To learn more about the TOBI Foundation or to obtain an application form, please visit www.tobifoundation.org or call toll-free 1-877-TOBI-4-CF. For quick facts about TOBI log onto www.abouttobi.com/patient.
