CYSTIC-L is an email support-group for people with Cystic Fibrosis and their friends, families, and health-care providers. It includes both casual information about the cystic fibrosis as well as technical and medical information. An extensive FAQ is available free to subscribers (contains much CF information, and references to other cystic fibrosis resources).
There are over 500 list subscribers. Current traffic levels are running around 20-50 messages per day.
** Consider using the digest option, which compiles messages and distributes them once every 24 hours.

Common CYSTIC-L Commands
Two addresses are needed to successfully use the CYSTIC-L mailing list. One address is for commands (computer talk for the few special words the stupid computer can understand) to the Listserv to subscribe you or unsubscribe you, to set your subscription options (DIGEST, INDEX, etc.), send you documents (the FAQ, Research News, list of subscribers), and other administrative tasks. The other address is for messages you want to send to the subscribers to CYSTIC-L.
Cystic-L: Cystic Fibrosis Discussion and Support This mailing list is a unmoderated discussion group of for people with cystic fibrosis and their parents, friends. The list has been in existance since January 1994.
