Ashley Gorr – who ran for Team Boomer in the 2010 ING New York City Marathon – finished second among women in the Hartford (Conn.) Marathon over the weekend.
Twenty-four-year-old Gorr’s time of 2:45:30 ensured her spot in the 2012 Olympic Women’s Marathon Trials, to be held January 14 in Houston. The races will determine the three men and three women who will represent the United States in the marathon at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
