Civilian Military Combine 2011

Civilian Military Combine 2011

Info

On September 10, 2011, the most challenging event ever created will become available to the public for the first time. The Civilian Military Combine – the ultimate test of strength, endurance and agility – will challenge some of the world’s most fit athletes while providing support to the Boomer Esiason Foundation and the cystic fibrosis community.

The CMC competition is broken down into three components to test strength, endurance and agility. Race day structure will consist of “The PIT” (strength element) into a seven-mile mountain race with seven strategically placed massive military obstacles. This structure is what separates the Civilian Military Combine from all other races and competitions. The PIT is designed to be the great equalizer by leveling the playing field between power athletes and endurance runners to determine the best overall conditioned athlete. This race structure has been carefully created, refined and reviewed by the top strength and conditioning coaches from the CrossFit community, United States Armed Forces and USA Triathlon Organization Race Directors.

Team Boomer is an official charity partner of this exciting event, which will be held at Camelback Mountain Resort in Tannersville, Penn.  Team Boomer has a limited number of guaranteed entries available for the Civilian Military Combine. The event’s registration fee will be waived for the first 12 athletes who raise a minimum of $500 for Team Boomer.
