The New York City Department of Sanitation’s Emerald Society has selected the Boomer Esiason Foundation to be the beneficiary of its annual golf tournament, to be held September 27 in Brooklyn.
The DSNY Emerald Society is a fraternal order within the Department of Sanitation. For more than 25 years, the group has supported the fight against cystic fibrosis via its annual golf tournament and other activities.
The golf tournament includes a continental breakfast and BBQ at the turn. Awards for best game, closest to the pin and longest drive are given at the luncheon following the tournament.
