Info

TEAM BOOMER IS SOLD OUT FOR THE 2012 ING NEW YORK CITY MARATHON.

Thanks to everyone who is running on behalf of Team Boomer and the cystic fibrosis community!

Please check back early next year for information and applications for the 2013 ING New York City Marathon.

The Boomer Esiason Foundation is proud to be among the New York Road Runners’ official charity partners for the 2012 ING New York City Marathon.

For the fourth year in a row, the Foundation will provide guaranteed marathon entries to runners who pledge to raise funds for the Foundation.

The 120 runners who participate on behalf of BEF will receive fundraising guidance as well as extensive pre-race and race day support.

APPLICATION AND FUNDRAISING INFORMATION

A limited number of guaranteed entries are available for this event. To be considered for an entry, each runner must commit to make a donation or raise funds totaling $3,000 or more to the Boomer Esiason Foundation.

BEF was established in 1993 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and your tax-deductible donations help fund research for a cure for cystic fibrosis, as well as our Exercise for Life Scholarship and other programs to improve the quality of life for individuals with CF.

Fundraising Commitment

A $3,000 minimum fundraising donation is required to secure your guaranteed entry into the 2012 ING New York City Marathon.

Your credit card information is required as a guarantee against the pledge. The Boomer Esiason Foundation reserves the right to charge the balance to the credit card we have on file if the $3,000 is not raised by 11:59 pm EST on October 26, 2012.

Fundraising Deadlines and Cancellation Policy

Once you accept an entry into the ING NYC Marathon from Team Boomer, you are subject to cancellation fees and/or fundraising commitments as follows:

A minimum of $3,000 must be raised and collected by BEF by October 26, 2012.

A dedication deposit of $1,500 is due by September 7, 2012.

After September 21, 2012, you are responsible for the $3,000, even if you cancel for any reason, including injury.
