Why This Program Matters
Family planning with cystic fibrosis can be extremely complicated. Many individuals face medical and personal challenges, including:
- 97–98% of men with CF experience infertility and often require assisted reproductive technology.
- Women with CF may face fertility challenges such as irregular ovulation and increased pregnancy risks.
- Post-transplant patients must consider the impact of medications on pregnancy.
- Concerns about genetic, life expectancy, and parenting with CF.
CF- specific fertility resources are limited. This program helps fill that gap by providing expert guidance and support.

Who Is Eligible?
You may qualify for the Fertility Consultation Access Program if you:
- Are an adult with a confirmed diagnosis of cystic fibrosis who wish to explore family-building options, either single or couples
- Are at any stage of the decision making process, including early education or long term planning
- Are unsure whether IUI, IVF, or alternative pathways may be appropriate
- Have no insurance coverage for infertility care
