Team Boomer is the athletic arm of the Boomer Esiason Foundation (www.esiason.org). Join our quest to find a cure for the respiratory disease cystic fibrosis (CF).

Team Boomer/Boomer Esiason Foundation (BEF) believes in the importance of exercise for all individuals especially those with CF. BEF fundraises to support the CF community with our programs such as academic scholarships, financial hardships, nutrition, and family.

Fundraising Minimum:
$1,750 before the lottery drawing (before 12/7)
$2,200 after the lottery drawing (after 12/7)

Fundraising Deadline Details:

Team members will be required to provide credit card information to secure his/her/their bib and to ensure that his/her/their minimum fundraising commitment is honored. Should the runner not fulfill his/her/their fundraising commitment by raising the funds or providing the funds personally through a valid credit card by the final deadline, the individual will not be able to pick up his/her/their bib at the expo and/or will not be able to take part in the 2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. The below deadlines are a tool to help team members plan ahead and be successful in this area of the 2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

• Fundraising Deadline 1 – Wednesday, August 21, 2024
  • $875 reflected on personal fundraising page for runners before the lottery drawing (12/7)
  • $1,100 reflected on personal fundraising page for runners after the lottery drawing (12/7)
• Fundraising Deadline 2 – Tuesday, October 1, 2024
  • $1,750 reflected on personal fundraising page for runners before the lottery drawing (12/7)
  • $2,200 reflected on personal fundraising page for runners after the lottery drawing (12/7)
