Cystic Fibrosis Podcast 227: Fears of a CF Mom

In Jerry Cahill’s latest podcast, Laura Bonnell – mother to two daughters living with CF – shares her family’s story. From diagnosis to study abroad mishaps, Laura worries about her daughters constantly, despite the fact that they tell her not to be concerned all of the time. While her daughters choose to make their lives outside of the CF world, Laura chose to create a Foundation that allows her to interact with other CF parents on a regular basis – and she says it’s the best therapy possible for her.

Tune in to learn more about Laura, her family, and how they deal with cystic fibrosis.

Thank you, Jerry so much! I never really realized how CF negatively impacted my emotional, physical, mental and spiritual. My daughter’s CF diagnoses was not diagnosis until almost her second birthday. Her symptoms were classic and very serious. Her delayed diagnosis has resulted in numerous issues making it difficult for her to being unable to life self sufficiently. I love her dearly and would never want her any other way! My only concern was her well her welfare without any regrets. I’m thankful for GOD’s care and patience. I was given a opportunity to draw closer to GOD. Romans 8:28
