Charity Navigator Awards BEF Second Consecutive Four-Star Rating

The Boomer Esiason Foundation has received its second consecutive four-star rating from Charity Navigator, an independent evalutator of U.S. philanthropic organizations.

“Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that your organization adheres to good governance and other best practices that minimize the chance of unethical activities and consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way,” Ken Berger, President and CEO of Charity Navigator, wrote in a May 1 letter to BEF President Dave Rimington.

“Only 16 percent of the charities we rate have received at least two consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that the Boomer Esiason Foundation outperforms most other charities in America,” Berger continued. “This ‘exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates the Boomer Esiason Foundation from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”
