BEF Board Member Timothy O’Brien Remembered as 9/11 Anniversary Nears

In the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, the Boomer Esiason Foundation lost not only its offices, which had been graciously supplied by Cantor Fitzgerald, but also a dear friend and Board member, Timothy O'Brien.

As the tenth anniversary of 9/11 approaches, Newsday.com is remembering some of the Long Island victims of the terrorist attacks. Today, Newsday features a video on Timmy O’Brien, who is remembered by his father, Bernard, as a great athlete and the child all of his other children aspired to emulate.
